Section: Triangles
Featured Quilter: Rhonda
Rhonda says: This Half Square Triangle finishes at 4”. It looks like pink lemonade. It’s been a rainy summer, might as well make lemonade and get some more modern blocks sewn.
Fabrics used: Kona; Candy Pink and Lemon. Parisville by Tula Pink.
Additional blocks made by: Jen, Mary & Lisa
Julie says: My favorite method for making half square triangles is the quick quarter ruler. It’s a marking guide with slotted center which gives a ¼" seam allowance to either side. Great for making multiple half- & quarter-square triangle blocks and Flying Geese blocks. Also a great tool to divide a square!
We encourage you to take pictures of your blocks and upload them to our Tula Pink 100 Blocks of Summer Flickr Group. If technology isn’t your thing, bring your blocks into the shop and we’ll snap a picture of them and upload them on your behalf.
