Mary says:  I'm sorry to leave the land of rectangles.  As  you probably  could see through my blocks, I am having so much fun sewing them and I hope you all are, too.   To me, each block is like sewing a mini-quilt.  I'm trying to enjoy the entire process, from thoughtfully choosing the fabrics, to cutting as accurately as I can, to carefully and slowly piecing.  Jen and I agree, this is the most fun quilt-making we've done in a long time!

Jen says:  Mary’s right, I’m having so much fun that I’ve started a second quilt.  It’s supposed to be a wall hanging but I have a feeling it could grow quite quickly into something larger if I’m not careful!

We encourage you to take pictures of your blocks and upload them to our Tula Pink 100 Blocks of Summer Flickr Group. If technology isn’t your thing, bring your blocks into the shop and we’ll snap a picture of them and upload them on your behalf.

You can also keep up with our progress in many places: here on our Patched Works Fabric Jules Blog, by visiting our website or by  Following us on Facebook!

It’s never too late to join the fun.  Stop in the shop to find out more about how to get started.

It’s always a party at Patched Works!
