Rhonda says: Easy one, just cut 1 strip of each color, 2” x about 21”, sew them together and then cut that into 3-1/2” sections, join as shown in the book.
Fabrics Used: Kona Hibiscus, “Little Bits” by Tula Pink (didn’t have the fabric shown in her book).

Mary says: This is a very simple block, but it's the fabrics you choose that can make it exceptional. I paired these two fabrics because I thought it looked like a sunset viewed through the forest.
