Patched Works 100 Blocks of Summer–Block 15

DIANE_15Block of the day: #15
Section: Crosses
Featured Quilter:  Diane M
Diane says:  I named this block Kisses.
Whenever possible in these blocks, because some of the pieces are so small – I strip pieced two colors and then sub-cut into the needed sizes.
Instead of cutting individual 1-1/2” squares I cut (1) 6-1/2” X 1-1/2” strip, light color & (1) 6-1/2” X 1-1/2” strip, dark color.  Sew together, press & sub-cut into (4) 1-1/2” X 2-1/2” pieces.  You will still need to cut the (3) 1-1/2” dark squares to add to the ends of your strip sets.
Additional bocks made by: Jen, Mary & Susie

It’s never too late to join the fun.  Stop in the shop to find out more about how to get started.
It’s always a party at Patched Works!
