Mary – William Morris Fabrics by MODA with Batik Backgrounds
Mary says: I chose to piece this block traditionally as it is a simple Square-In-A-Square design. The book does not give this option so I’ve included the cutting instructions for a traditionally pieced block in our Supplemental Packet.
Julie: Elm Creek Quilts; The Giving Quilt This block was put together by PW Customer Geraldine B.
Geraldine B. says: On the Economy Block if you’re using the instructions from the book on page 35, the outer triangles from step 2 need to be cut ¼” larger. If you’re paper piecing using Patched Works Supplement, this won’t be a problem.
We encourage you to take pictures of your blocks and upload them to our Loyal Union Sampler Flickr Group. If technology isn’t your thing, bring your blocks into the shop and we’ll snap a picture of them and upload them on your behalf.
