Loyal Union Sampler Block E-11 Improved Four-Patch

Improved Four-Patch is pieced per the directions on page 48.  The template on page 115 is INCORRECT.  The inner dashed square should be 1 1/16" and the solid line should be 1/4" outside the dashed line.  To print an updated template click HERE.

Mary says: I chose to paper piece this block as the template the book has you cut appears to be 2-1/16^” square! I didn’t think I could do that as accurately as I would need to, but paper piecing is a very accurate technique and I’m glad that’s the path I chose!
