Section: Stripes
Featured Quilter: Susie
Susie says: I used our new modern solids and a fun butterfly print by Brandon Mably. Strip piecing the 1" strips saves time and was more accurate for me.
Additional blocks made by: Mary, Jen & Lisa
Mary says: I'm sure I'm not the only one who strip-pieced the two "solid" fabrics.
Jen says: I had so much fun making this block. Be very careful with your seam allowances and pressing. Focus on keeping everything nice and straight. I started out with one long strip set and kept sub-cutting it until I had the two sections that I needed.
We encourage you to take pictures of your blocks and upload them to our Tula Pink 100 Blocks of Summer Flickr Group. If technology isn’t your thing, bring your blocks into the shop and we’ll snap a picture of them and upload them on your behalf.
