Railroad Crossing is pieced per the directions on page 74 and template on page 120 OR Paper Pieced using the Supplemental Packet offered at Patched Works.

Mary says: I chose to paper piece this block. If I were to make this block again, I would cut:
(1) 4-1/2” Square and sub-cut into 4 pieces for the corner triangles (As instructed) but cut a larger square to sub-cut for the setting triangles. You would also have more room to work with when placing pieces A1, A5, B1 & B5
