Mary – William Morris Fabrics by MODA with Batik Backgrounds

Mary says:  Pay close attention to the orientation of the half-square triangles and the other triangles in this block. As you may notice, my block does not have a pinwheel in the center but I think it’s a good looking block all the same.

Julie: Elm Creek Quilts; The Giving Quilt This block was put together by PW Customer Cathy D.

Cathy D says: When sewing the half square triangles I put the needle down, lift the foot up and then slide the point under. This helps so the point doesn’t get stuck in the throat plate.
