Patched Works presents…100 Blocks of Summer!!

logo_100blocksOfSummerStarting June 1st we are going to bring you 100 blocks in 100 days.  With inspiration from Tula Pink’s City Sampler, each of the Quiltie Ladies have chosen a different style of fabric to make their blocks from.  Not all fabric styles will be shown daily.  For example, Jen might post a batik block on Monday and on Tuesday it may be Lisa’s blue & white blocks.  Other days you may see blocks from multiple makers.

Stop by Patched Works to pick up your copy today!  Not local?  We’d be happy to ship it to you!

Not sure how to get started or what fabrics to use?  Each of the Quiltie Ladies has taken the first step for you by picking special fabric rolls and stacks similar to those used in their own blocks.  All precut rolls and stacks are available individually and are not meant to be the fabric for your entire quilt; just enough to get you started!

Finish 20 or more blocks by September 15th, 2013 and receive a Patched Works collector pin.

Finish all 100 blocks by September 15th, 2013 and also receive a t-shirt and quilt label at the Patched Works Awards Ceremony and Show and Tell on October 2nd.

We encourage you to take pictures of your blocks and upload them to our Tula Pink 100 Blocks of Summer Flickr Group. If technology isn’t your thing, bring your blocks into the shop and we’ll snap a picture of them and upload them on your behalf.

You can also keep up with our progress in many places: here on our Patched Works Fabric Jules Blog, by visiting our website or by  Following us on Facebook!

It’s never too late to join the fun.  Stop in the shop to find out more about how to get started.

It’s always a party at Patched Works!
